Dear President Asif Ali Zardari.
Several authors indicate that executives in your country go to kill Asia Bibi, for the reason of her opinions.
From the publications, it is difficult to guess, did Asia Bibi expressed her opinion in an offensive form or not, because, according to several authors, all the eyewitness are extremely Muslims (or pretend to be extremely Muslims); the non-muslims do not consider them as an independent and balanced source of information. Many people in the world think, that Asia should not be punished.
This letter is to support such an opinion and to convince you that Asia Bibi should not be killed.
There are muslims among my coauthors and friends. I cannot yet read Arabian, and, therefore, I cannot understand fully the deep meaning of the Koran; I cannot be considered as Muslim. But I read the translations from Koran, and I am sure that Allah disapproves the murder for just an opinion, even if this opinion is expressed. Also, I am sure that many peaceful Muslims do not approve the kill of a woman, of a mother of 5 children, just for her opinion, even if she had expressed it to Muslims.
The punishment of Asia Bibi would serve to fragmentation of the Muslim religion, and Allah would not approve this.
In addition, the punishment of Asia Bibi would push away from Allah many people who did not yet chose their religion. Allah would not approve this.
Even without to know details of the case, I see:
there are many reasons to save Asia Bibi.
Please use your possibilities to save her.
For the sake of Allah, please, do that you can in order to save Asia Bibi.
This is important for many peaceful muslims in various countries.
This is important for the reputation of Islam as religion.
This is important for your reputation, and therefore, this is important for the image of Pakistan.
