Джейк принимает решение спуститься под землю. Оказывается, под землёй на Пандоре существует ещё более удивительный и загадочный мир. Там не просто разветвлённые пещеры, но свои источники света в виде колонии очень ярких светляков, покрывающих своды этих огромных пещер. Пещеры представляют собой что-то среднее между древними индийскими храмами, древнеримским мегаполисом и естественными катакомбами. Их построила древняя цивилизация, а современные подземные жители чем-то напоминают жителей жемчужного побережья из фильма "Валериан и город тысячи планет". И у них есть свои культы. Основой культа являются огромные драконы. Они страшны тем, что имеют тончайший слух и могут передвигаться так стремительно, что глазом их рассмотреть почти невозможно. Увидеть их можно только, когда они спокойно отдыхают и греются в водах тёплого источника. Но это место никому не известно. Легенда говорит о том, что был один человек, который разговаривал с драконами, но Салли считает, что это сказки. Поначалу он не верит и в существование драконов, но Нейтири пытается убедить его, что на Пандоре не бывает сказок, что есть только знания. Существуют знания обычные, глубокие, очень глубокие и самые глубокие. Самые глубокие знания - это те, про которые не знает даже великая Эйва, но и они тоже существуют. Эти знания - от тех, кто создал и Пандору, и даже Эйву.

И конечно драконы решат помочь Джеку Салли, который возглавит их вылазку из-под земли. Атака драконов на спутники-разведчики с ИИ и с лазерным оружием будет эпичной. В отличие от Туруков и Икранов, которые могут летать только по воздуху. Драконы, которые называются Марзаки, могут летать и в безвоздушном пространстве.
А под конец шокирующая новость. Оказывается, что и Земля была когда-то давно заселена этими самыми Марзаками, которые создали людей в качестве эксперимента. Эксперимент им не понравился, они переместились на Пандору и создали там племена джунглей, воды, огня, песка, льда и подземелья.
Что тут сказать? Сюжет не плох, кто смотрит - лох.

They can only be seen when they are resting peacefully and basking in the waters of a warm spring. But this place is unknown. Legend has it that there was a man who spoke with dragons, but Sally thinks that's just a fairy tale. At first, he doesn't believe in the existence of dragons, but Neytiri tries to convince him that there are no fairy tales on Pandora, that there is only knowledge. There is ordinary knowledge, profound knowledge, very profound knowledge, and the deepest knowledge. The deepest knowledge is that which even the great Eywa doesn't know about, but it also exists. This knowledge comes from those who created both Pandora and even Eywa.
Of course, you've guessed that Eywa was created by dragons. I think it won't be a secret who exactly will be the first person to see a real dragon and establish contact with it.
And Colonel Miles, or rather his avatar, since the colonel himself died in the first game, will of course also play a role. At the most desperate and climactic moment, he will save Neytiri, shielding her from the laser cannon with his body. Well, perhaps she shouldn't have come to the surface prematurely.
And of course, the dragons will decide to help Jack Sully, who will lead their foray from underground. The dragons' attack on the AI reconnaissance satellites with laser weapons will be epic. Unlike the Turuks and Ikrans, who can only fly through the air, the dragons, called Marzaks, can also fly in the vacuum of space.
And finally, shocking news. It turns out that Earth, too, was once inhabited by these same Marzaks, who created humans as an experiment. They didn't like the experiment, so they moved to Pandora and created tribes of jungle, water, fire, sand, ice, and dungeons there.
