The Day of Responsibility to History. A Political manifesto.

The Day of Responsibility to History. A Political manifesto.

The Romanov dynasty, the imperial political elite demonstrated in the 19th and 20th centuries a peculiar 'tradition of defeats': 1853-1856, 1877-1878, 1904-1905, 1914-1918, the Civil War of 1918-1920 ...

In the 20th century, the USSR won two outstanding military and diplomatic victories: over fascist Germany and over militaristic Japan (1945).

Since then, a vicious historical tradition has arisen: to focus on results (on victories) and to divert an attention from prerequisites, conditions that lead (led) to results (to victories and defeats).

The surrender of the German armed forces in May 1945 is a definite, clear victory. Heroism during the armed confrontation - causes great respect and admiration.

And the processes during the late 20s and 30s (in the field of economics, culture, politics) - how to relate to them ?.

From an individual point of view, much is clear - few people want to work a lot, in conditions of a forced labor and almost for free. Or - to be in the role of an ordinary collective farmer without any rights. The position of students, members of creative unions, and technical intelligentsia was better - these were privileged sections of society.

And from a public point of view? A lot of obscure things...

And Lend-Lease, his role? ... Some topic is not very popular ...

So, military victories and military heroism cause admiration and respect, and the general prerequisites for victories or defeats go somewhere in the background.

There is a some feeling of surprising. Some people argue that the losers live better than the winners, and the winners, respectively, live worse than the losers ... If this is true, then this situation looks strange ... Winners should look like people, who are wealthy and cheerful (contented with life) ones...

A unclear information is being circulated that, before the USSR ceased to exist in 1991, Saudi Arabia, for example, lowered oil prices. This led the USSR to a financial crisis and then to a cessation of existence of USSR. To this thesis (as addition), a remark is being made on the appearance of hybrid wars.

This topic is not a subject of an official analysis. Historians close to official spheres speak out vaguely - there are arguments in favor of the advanced versions, but there is no complete clarity ...

  Why not clarify?

There is an answer to this question.

There is no clarity because of the habit of talking a lot about victories, about results, but it's not enough to think about the premises of the results (victories and defeats), to insufficiently analyze the factors that lead to the results.

It is clear that we all think the same and therefore we use the same words. Only our social status and salaries are different.

If the situation is that one of those who thinks in the manner of "common thinking" has more time due to savings in the duration of visits to stores (it makes no sense to be in stores for a long time without adequate financial resources), then the time saved can be used in the common interests - to present in writing those thoughts that have long been placed in the heads of participants in the process of "common thinking."

In addition to the day (days) devoted to the celebration of (military) victory (military victories), it is advisable, it is useful to introduce a day dedicated to defeats (or, in a broader sense, the prerequisites, conditions that lead to certain results - victories or defeats). Such a day could be called the Day of Responsibility to History (Day of Historical Responsibility). The events of 1853-1856, 1877-1878, 1904-1905, 1914-1918, of the Civil War of 1918-1920 could be considered as generally recognized (indisputable) historical facts ... Other events, including the results of a hypothetical hybrid war, could be introduced to the discussion list. A day of historical responsibility could be devoted to historical discussions and analysis of which paths lead to victories and which ones lead to defeats. What events (except the victories of 1945) are a significant victories and a defeats in the 20th and 21st centuries ...

A list of defeats in the 20th and 21st centuries is highly controversial, and compiling it is relevant in itself ... Well ... Maybe it makes sense to make two lists? One the 'indisputable', and the second the "debatable" ...

So we are waiting for the inclusion in the calendar of the next memorable day - the Day of Responsibility to History. The situation is such that it makes sense to add an intense analysis up to a feeling of honour ...
