Karin Muller's book about traveling the ancient Inca trail. A literary note.
Karin Muller is the author of several travel books.
Earlier, I wrote about her book, in which she talked about a trip along Vietnam.
No less interesting is the book about the large journey of Karin Muller through several countries of Latin America (Along The Inca Road).
Excellent book!
Interesting journey!
Experienced traveler.
It makes no sense to retell the book or its fragments in a brief note.
I would like to note that the author of the book had the experience to make such trips, certain useful contacts, a willingness to sacrifice own health, a high level of luck and an understanding of own MISSION.
You can, for example, compare the description of a stay in Ecuador and Peru in the books by Karin Muller and by William Willis. In the books of both Muller and Willis, we find information about the benevolent attitude towards travelers in both countries.
Such books are read by many people in many countries and such books create important elements of the reputation of states.
The opinions of such comparatively independent travelers and such comparatively independent authors-especially when books written by different people at different times corroborate each other-such opinions effectively influence a wide range of global audiences.
Building reputation of a high-level is one of the many topics that Karin Muller's book encourages reflection on.
Not all episodes from this book were interesting to me. But, for example, that part of the text of the book, which concerned Karin Muller's trip to Ecuador, may be interesting as a characteristic of military personnel - the presence of physical fitness, organizational skills, breadth of thinking, discipline, energy and initiative.
I don't know if all readers get to know all the stages of Karen Muller's journey with the same interest, but knowing about the existence of such a book and reading this book (selectively) is useful for broadening one's horizons.
