  One of the authors who wrote about Alexander Khanzhonkov was Rashit Yangirov (Рашит Янгиров).
  
  If I had not become interested in the biography of Khanzhonkov, then I would not have known anything about Rashit Yangirov (1954 - 2008).
  
  However, he is an interesting personality. He is interesting both in himself and as a typical phenomenon of the modern Russial scientific and cultural environment.
  
  As follows from the biographies of Rashit Yangirov, he was strong in his capacity for work and in his ability to work in archives.
  
  Here we recall the wife (de facto) of the famous Russial St. Petersburg historian.
  
  Yangirov began his studies in the provinces, but he had the character and inner power to move to Moscow.
  
  He studies at the Faculty of History of Moscow State University and is actively working (in the archives).
  
  He prepared a huge manuscript for publication, but did not publish it.
  
  If you believe the emphasis placed by biographers, then the Yangirov's self-criticism, self-demanding should be given credit - Yangirov was too demanding of himself, so he did not give his book to print.
  
  But biographers find arguments to console the reader: Yangirov used these materials in his other works. Yangirov's efforts did not go to waste!
  
  Some will believe these biographers, but I am skeptical about their emphasis.
  
  Everything is much simpler - the modern scientific and cultural environment is not focused on the publication of works by energetic and relatively independent people ...
  
  The author sends his manuscript to publishers. He meets either silence (what if it be possible to borrow something away? Imperceptibly?). Or a viscous response, reminiscent of a swamp.
  
  In my terminology, this is the "freezing out" stage.
  
  Let me note right away that if one follows biographical sources, one can assume that Yangirov's manuscript was a variant of a good doctoral dissertation on the topic of cultural development.
  
  However, Yangirov passed (he was "passed") by [nearby with] the option "successful Soviet scientist".
  
  Somewhere around this time, Rashit Yangirov gropes for a topic that brings him success. This topic is the history of cinema (a pre-revolutionary and post-revolutionary cinematography).
  
  With such a formulation of the topic, Yangirov's attention is also directing onto the foreign cinema - including the such cultural phenomen as Hollywood.
  
  With the enormous capacity for a work and with his ability to work in archives, Yangirov becomes the owner of valuable information.
  
  Especially when it comes to Hollywood, foreign cinema.
  
  Even if Yangirov is not a doctor of science (and who needs such a hard-working and talented person?), Yangirov is the author of many publications (at least 230 works, including biographical materials about Alexander Khanzhonkov).
  
  At last, Yangirov deserves the titles of "journalist" and "lecturer".
  
  He goes through a stage that I call "receiving [smearing] a sour cream for (on) their lips" [to make the "starting" persons wanted more] and becomes a comparatively successful person.
  
  He lectures and works as a journalist abroad. He is in demand as a unique specialist with unique information.
  
  It can be assumed that he does not lose in wages to his foreign colleagues, therefore, he is relatively financially successful.
  
  Further, Yangirov became a leading member of the scientific department of the Library of the Russian Abroad Foundation [ведущий сотрудник научного отдела Библиотеки фонда "Русское зарубежье"]. As a positive thinking figure, I guess he's finally getting a decent salary.
  
  Defence of thesis for degree of candidate in 2000 (23 years after graduation from Moscow State University). The Soviet and Russian scientific systems turned out to be helpless and closed in on themselves enough not to award Rashit Yangirov the title of Doctor of Science based on his publications, his archival and scientific achievements.
  
  Between (among) 50 and 60 years (meaning his age) Yangirov passes away.
  
  It's good that no one dismembered him and threw him into one of the St. Petersburg canals ... (In any case, there is no information about this in biographical descriptions). But with people who know how to work in archives, anything can happen ... Igor Bogdanov, a biographer of Heinrich Schliemann and a lover of working in archives, was "punching" one of own manuscripts through a publishing house - and suddenly his heart failed ...
  
  At this point in my note, I see an alternative.
  
  Or to write about the great efficiency of the modern scientific system, which is not conducive the approaching of capable people to paid, calm and respected positions? Or to write about the "cultural environment"?
  
  Recently I wrote about Medinsky, so I will focus on the cultural environment.
  
  Those biographical materials that I read about Rashit Yangirov involuntarily call to memory the works of Yangirov himself about Alexander Khanzhonkov.
  
  Alexander Khanzhonkov is a famous person! But how much in his biography of obscure, of unknown elements! - such an emphasis was made by Rashit Yangirov.
  
  Similarly, the much about the biography of Rashit Yangirov is not clear to me.
  
  For example, in what family was he born, in what cultural atmosphere did he grow up?
  
  How did he live abroad (when he lectured and worked as a journalist)?
  
  Why did he return to Russia? How did he live in Russia (after returning)?
  
  Why did he die at a relatively young age?
  
  It's good to have someone to ask these questions. At the head of Russial culture are people like Medinsky. The level below - brokers who rent out the historical names of their ancestors, and assistants (of brokers). Even lower are the cultural observers smearing [smudging] red syrup along [onto] editorial tables or spudding [taking care] of their theatrical garden bed (with a fresh, charming flowers)...
  
  Among cultural figures of this type, Rashit Yangurov breathed easily, but still he had to take care not to sway from overflowing inspiration and not fall into some kind of canal.
