Skippin" down the jungle path, so happy and so free,
The trees, the birds, the buzzing bees, and sunny skies I see.
Then bonk! - a stone from nowhere knocks me to the ground,
And out jump folks with painted masks; they gather all around.
Oh, round I go, where? I don"t know,
To the altar in the shade.
They tie me down with grins all 'round,
Their ceremony made.
I open up my drowsy eyes; the chief holds up a blade,
He opens up my belly wide; I"m feeling quite amazed!
My heart, my liver, kidneys too, they take 'em one by one,
And use them all in ways unique, while I just watch in fun.
Oh, round I go, where? I don"t know,
To the cauldron, warm and deep,
They drop me in, I splash and grin,
In the bubbles, still asleep.
They crack my skull and take my brain, I feel a little light,
And as they feast, my joy"s increased - I"m smiling clear and bright!
They eat, they laugh, I drift away, just happy as can be,
For piece by piece, I"m finally free, dissolved in revelry.
Oh, round I go, where? I don"t know,
Till nothing"s left of me,
A happy tune beneath the moon,
In their joyful jubilee.
Oh, round I go, where? I don"t know,
Till nothing"s left of me,
A happy tune beneath the moon,
In their joyful jubilee...
